Cloud Elves are one of the elves that come from the elemental elf world I conjure from. While they are on good terms with pretty much all of the races, this may be because these elves quite literally make their homes up in the clouds. As you might imagine, the sky doesn’t necessarily offer a lot of resources, and so Cloud Elves have a healthy trade with the various nations throughout the world (although they also keep high altitude plants and animals that they maintain as food sources).

One of the major tea traders in the world, most of their culture’s wealth comes from the tea that only the Cloud Elves can grow in their floating cities. While magic exists in the realm, the other elemental elves can’t handle the high altitudes without getting sick or worse. Because of this, what goods the Cloud Elves can produce on their own are often in high demand, so the other races have to play nice if they wish to uphold good relations as Cloud Elves have to hand deliver the goods.

With Cloud Elves being peaceful by nature, overall they make a very likeable race filled with compassionate, caring people who only want to see people flourish and thrive. They are charitable creatures, and while they may be incredibly saintly where their patience is concerned, once the line has been crossed their fury holds all the power of a tornado or hurricane. Once their trust is lost, they may remain diplomatic, but they won’t go out of their way for you, and they are typically not ones to apologize for their anger. The other elves of the world have a saying that essentially means if you managed to piss off a Cloud Elf, you deserved it. Cloud Elves can tolerate a lot, and therefore and very fair and non-judgmental beings who can find a comfortable place among charlatans, mercenaries, and assassins just as easily as they could with humanitarians and pacifists.
