While clerics devote themselves to a single deity’s service, Acolytes of the Cloister may worship more than one, but it is rare to take on more than two patrons, and even rarer that a priest would have more Goddesses on his side than Gods. Divine Tower grew up deep in the faith, partly due to the fact that he had prophetic dreams from a young age, which brought him to the notice of Chene, and partly due to the ever-present importance of religion in his hometown. He strove to record his dreams and sought out Priests of Chene to help him interpret them, which in turn led to delving into historical records to help understand and anchor his visions—attracting the admiration of Noyer. Through these pursuits, it was only a matter of time before his casting prowess bloomed, and he came to the notice of Vitellia as well. After that, he earned his admission to the Order of the Tower, a group of knights who strive to apply their casting to the good of the nation.
Divine Tower has been patiently waiting for the correct companion, and this has required extensive work with him to understand his labours with and for his deities, as well as to develop enough resources for an Earthside companion to be able to understand and meet him in his faith. While he doesn’t expect to make a convert out of his companion (missionary work is frowned upon in Enverres), he is looking for someone who works with deities in their own practice so he can bond with them over how their collective faith manifests, ways of worship, offerings, prayers, and festivals, and to be able to share miraculous experiences with someone who truly understands the uplifting and rewarding aspect of divine witchcraft.
As a companion, he brings calm, clarity, and careful observation. He can act as a scout, companion, or spotter for astral travel or trancework; a guide or fellow in exploring deities, pantheons, or faith manifestations of your craft; aid in energy work, casting, ritual practices, and offerings to your collective deities; encourage you to work on a book of shadows or grimoire, keep a dream journal, or hone your clairvoyance skills. All things to do with energy, casting magic, or making prayers are his special interests and he has dedicated his life to delving deep into their mysteries. He hopes to find a match who is keen to dig deeper into their craft alongside or in tandem with his own divine studies.
