He also is adept in handling what he calls a “living death”. He says that many humans go through life without meaning or purpose or drive- they simply exist. They go through motions but it is as if they are nearly zombies without emotion or care. They do not understand how to exist mentally and so their mind wanders far away while their physical body is trapped and empty. He says this is worse than actual death, to waste a life that is already so short lived.
